Hi I'm Sonia, the owner and Manager of NumberWorks'nWords Dee Why.

I have been a teacher for 12 years now. I studied at The University of New South Wales before my first teaching position in 1998 at The King's School, where I worked for five years. I then headed to the UK where I taught in the city of Exeter. On my return to Australia, I worked at St Ignatius' College before moving to Ravenswood School for Girls and then finally to Knox Grammar. 

I really enjoy the challenges of tutoring children and find it an extremely satisfying job. There is nothing better than seeing children grow in confidence and start to not just like, but love learning!

I live on the northern beaches and love everything that it has to offer. I have travelled the world and visited places like South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Dubai, Hong Kong and dozens of places throughout Europe. My spare time is taken up playing music - I play both the trumpet and the piano, playing tennis and netball and catching up with friends and family.
