Welcome to the NumberWorks'nWords at Eastgardens!

We've just completed another wonderfully successful year with so many students achieving greatly improved results in school. This is always the best part of our programme - seeing students and parents walk in with huge smiles on their faces - final school reports have been issued and the news is good! Makes us all very happy indeed!

Our English programme is up and running full tilt - and with great success! Our students are learning all about reading, spelling, writing and improving their comprehension and - they're having fun too!

English: reading, writing, comprehension and spelling

Learning to read and write is one of the most important skills your child will develop in those early years of school.

Children who develop strong reading skills can easily access all other areas of the curriculum and develop confidence in themselves as learners.

At NumberWorks’nWords we recognize the importance of English skills and have developed a comprehensive programme that covers reading, comprehension, spelling and writing for students in their first year of school, through to those entering High School.

Senior Maths Students

Are Pythagoras, Algebra and Trigonometry all Greek to you?

Were exams something less than terrific?

We can help! We currently have a large number of High School students coming in every week to work on their maths. You will be working on your own programme, and have a tutor right there to guide you along.

We have a session on Monday nights devoted to high school students only. It runs from 6 to 7 pm and we are devoted entirely to the work you want to cover!

It's not too late to catch up - to review and consolidate material covered during last year or to revisit problem areas encountered last year or in past years  ... just be prepared to put in the work with us - call now for a free assessment and to get a spot.

G'day! I'm Doreen, the owner and manager of NumberWorks'nWords at Eastgardens. I've been running a centre for 8 years now and would never dream of doing anything else ... it's that much fun!

We specialize in bringing fun and enjoyment to the learning of maths and English and there are many smiles and lots of laughter at our centre.

As soon as you walk through our door, you'll know you are in a safe and friendly place where it's okay to say "I don't get it" when you don't understand something - it'll put a smile on your face too ... when you realise that you CAN get it. And you'll have fun while you learn!

Teaching well is what we do best and we make it a pleasurable experience, so come on in and try it out!
